Why we invested
Finance Wales had previously made two rounds of investment in
Flexicare. The company had established its reputation as one of the
world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of healthcare products
and had plans to expand its operations in Asia.
Outcome
Flexicare has expanded its research and development and sales
facilities since we invested in the company. This has enabled
Flexicare to strengthen its domestic operations and increase
exports; expanding into the Chinese market.
In 2011, Flexicare won the MediWales NHS Partnership with Industry Award.
