Why we invested
Global Laser has been trading successfully since 2001, exporting
its laser modules all over the world.
When the company’s chairman and two of its directors decided to
buy-out three of its original shareholders, they approached Finance
Wales to finance the deal. We had previously invested in Global
Laser’s expansion.
The outcome
Global Laser’s management team completed the management buy-out (MBO) and now plans to double
the company’s turnover.
With the range of applications for its products increasing, the
company now plans to develop its products to penetrate new
markets.
