Finance Wales has strengthened its North Wales presence with the
appointment of Heather Morrey to its regional investment team.
Heather returns to the commercial investment company as
Investment Executive from HSBC where she was a commercial manager
for two years based at the bank’s Llandudno Commercial Centre.
Previously she was Business Development Manager at Lloyds TSB and
Regional Business Development Manager with Finance Wales.
“I’m looking forward to returning to Finance Wales and using my
extensive knowledge of commercial funding to help SMEs throughout
North Wales looking for development capital, early stage investment
or funding for succession and acquisition deals,” said Heather.
“Finance Wales already has a firm foothold in North Wales and we’re
looking to strengthen that further by highlighting and providing
innovative options for commercial investment that many businesses
might not have previously had access to or considered.”
Finance Wales provides commercial funding to small medium-sized
businesses (SMEs) throughout Wales enabling them to realise their
potential for innovation and growth.
Established by the Welsh Assembly Government, the company is backed
by private and public sector funding, including European Objective
1 and 2 funding, and works closely with other banks and private
sector investors.
Peter Wright, Investment Director at Finance Wales, said: “The
right investment package can be critical for the growth of any
business. Heather is a welcome addition to our North Wales team and
will be helping businesses to find appropriate solutions to their
funding needs to help them achieve their growth ambitions. She will
be working closely with businesses, other investors and
intermediaries to provide growth businesses with the right funding
packages.”
Finance Wales’ North Wales offices are located at the St Asaph
Business Park, St Asaph, Denbighshire.
